Visa: Getting a British visa to participate in the Fair is the sole responsibility of the participants as well. Since the British visa is not issued in Nepal, please ensure that you apply for a visa at least one month in advance.

Letter of Confirmation: The Embassy of Nepal will issue a letter of confirmation for those participants who have already paid for the stall at the Fair venue.

Last Date of Payment for Stalls: The stall must be booked and the payment must be made for the stall by August 15, 2008.

However, the Organizing Committee will, without obligation, try to help the participants as much as possible. For further information, please contact Mr. Dhruba KC, Tourism Coordinator. Personal Safety: As London has a high serious crime rate, visitors should avoid isolated and poorly lit areas, especially at night.

VAT: You have to pay 17.5% VAT on most items you buy and every service you procure. Visitors on short visits to the United Kingdom should produce their passports at the time of purchase, get a receipt for the goods they purchase, and claim the value added tax at the airport on departure. This necessitates allowing extra time.

Nepali Diaspora: More than 80,000 people of Nepali origin reside in the United Kingdom and they have several dozen community and other organizations. The majority of them live in London, Kent, Manchester, Farnborough, Plumstead, Aldershot, Ashford, etc. For further information, contact the Embassy of Nepal.
